Hello, my name is Jason.  This blog is my cramped little corner of the Internet.  You know…the one full of cobwebs and dust.  But hey, at least it’s my own corner.  Hopefully I’ll be able to use the as a platform to voice my opinions, share ideas, discuss news and generate new ideas.  If I’m able to keep myself dedicated enough to this blogging thing, I’d like to be able to use this as method to watch how I evolve over time.

Now, a little information about myself.  I’m currently a systems administrator for a university in St. Louis, MO.  I’m still working my bachelors degree and hope to actually make use of it someday.  I’ve been a systems administrator for about 5 years now and enjoy working in the I.T. field.  There is so much more that I want to learn.  I’d love to learn Java programming as I hope to develop for the Android mobile OS someday.  Learning and expanding my knowledge is something I strive to do, especially since so few seem to care anymore.

Besides that, I have a beautiful wife and 3 cats.  I’ve been married since July 18th, 2009 but it seems like it was just last week.  I enjoy spending time with my wife, she is definitely my best friend and I couldn’t have asked for a better woman.  We plan on having kids someday but we’re waiting until school is finished and possibly until we buy a bigger house.  Hopefully it’ll be in Florida or somewhere not as boring as the mid-west.
